Even In Pink Shoes...

Saturday night was the big BYU vs. UofU basketball game. And when I say BIG, I mean Dave's Dad bought the entire family tickets to the game 5 months in advance. In honor of Coach Rose, the team wore pink shoes along with pink jerseys to promote CANCER AWARENESS. And well....
Even in PiNk shOes, the Cougars dominated the Utes.

New York

We recently found out that Dave will be going to Long Island, New York for his job this summer! I have an awesome job that I don't want to leave, so I will be staying. Luckily I have every other Friday off, so that means LOTS of weekend visits for me! Every year the "APX draft" comes around and Dave never knows what will still be available after other managers have picked. Dave & Chad worked their butts off last summer and they were rewarded with a pretty high draft pick. I am so happy they get to go to New York this summer. I'm already making my list of things I want to see and do when I visit. I've never been there before so if you have any suggestions let me know! Dave doesn't even move out there until the end of April but I'm just SO excited!

fAsT carS, FooTball & fRieNds

Last weekend our friends Kyleur and Stacie stayed with us for a few days. We had SO much fun! On Friday night we went to the Auto Show in Sandy...where I found my other love.....
The Audi Q5. I love it. A lot.
Saturday we watched not 1 but 2 football games. (Welcome to my life.) Although I must admit I am becoming quite the Colts fan because Austin Collie is SIIIICK! And the fact that I just said that scares me a bit...I think I am turning into my husband. Dave and Kyleur wanted to be true fans and sport their "Jerseys", AKA...my painting tape!
Can't wait to see these 2 again!

Twenty10 Resolutions

This year I decided my resolutions would be things that I actually can accomplish. No more of the..."I'm going to quit drinking diet coke.." because we ALL know that one just isn't going to happen. I only take partial responsibility for that one though, the rest is a mixture between Sonic's amazing ice and McDonalds perfect ratio of syrup to carbonation....mmmm. Uh back to my point...this year I made goals that I actually WANT to keep! I'm curious what of kind resolutions other people make?

1. Learn to Speak Spanish…Rosetta Stone Style.

2. Grow my hair out....longer than 3 months.

3. Organize my craft room…I mean REALLY organize. This year, my craft room will look like it belongs in a Better Homes and Gardens Magazine.

4. Stop swearing at idiot driver who cuts me off.

5. Learn one new recipe a month, AND actually cook it.

6. Pay better attention in Sacrament meetings instead of counting how many times the speaker says “um, uh” or “like”.

7. Be more thrifty.

8. Drink more WATER.

9. Read 1 new book a month.

10. Travel to one of the following: New York, San Francisco or Seattle.
